Investing for Systems Change

Moving beyond single investments to transform entire systems. A framework for deploying capital strategically to create lasting, systemic change.

When
4 May 2026 – 6 May 2026
Where
Zurich

The greatest challenges of our time - the climate crisis, rising economic inequality, biodiversity loss - aren't solved by individual investments. They require understanding to influence the systems that perpetuate them.

Designed for private investors, philanthropists and family office advisors ready to move beyond conventional impact investing, this 3-day program equips participants with the frameworks, tools, and network to shift from single-point interventions to strategic, systems-level investing. Drawing on cutting-edge research, real-world case studies, and hands-on application, participants learn to identify areas of leverage, build synergistic portfolios across asset classes, and collaborate with stakeholders to transform entire systems.

Key aspects of the program

Mastering systems thinking for investment impact

  • Beyond deal-by-deal impact: This program takes a fundamentally different approach from traditional impact investing training. Moving beyond scattered investments to a coherent systems approach, participants learn to map complex systems, identify high-leverage intervention points, and orchestrate capital across asset classes for maximum leverage.
  • Amplified influence: Through a blend of expert guidance, practical application, and peer exchange, participants identify their unique position within systems and learn how to coordinate with other investors, policymakers, and stakeholders to drive transformation at scale.

Learning in an independent, peer-only environment

  • Independent: The program is hosted in a protected university environment with strict non-solicitation policies and is grounded in research-backed frameworks (from MIT, TransCap Initiative and CSP) and real-world applications that provide an honest roadmap for impact - not a commercial pitch.
  • Peer-only: Limited to 30 participants in a carefully curated cohort of fellow wealth holders, the program creates the psychological safety needed for honest exploration and vulnerable discussions about family wealth, values, and decision-making.

Exploring real-world applications

  • Immersive & experiential: Forget passive lectures. Through a field visit to climate systems innovators and interactive workshops, participants see systems change investing in action and test strategies with real-world practitioners.

  • Practical blueprints: Participants walk away with actionable tools including systems mapping techniques, leverage point identification frameworks, multicapital deployment strategies, and a personalized systems change investment roadmap.
