This program is designed for impact investors, philanthropists, and family office professionals who want to create systemic change with their economic capital. It’s ideal for those who want to maximize their capital’s reach, create lasting systemic impact, and understand how to pinpoint the most impactful financial levers within complex systems.
The program runs three full days (exact dates will follow). Each day runs from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with special networking dinners on the first two evenings. A highlight of the program is a full-day experience in the Swiss countryside, where participants learn directly from food systems experts. Sessions combine expert discussions, behind-the-scenes case studies, peer-to-peer and hands-on learning. Participants will receive pre-reading materials and preparatory work (approximately 10 hours) three weeks before the program's start. Following the program, participants join periodic cohort calls for 6-12 months to support strategy implementation and continued learning. Upon completion, participants receive a digital badge certificate that can be shared on professional networks.
The program’s distinctive feature is its focus on systemic transformation using food systems as a practical case study. Through unique partnerships, it combines cutting-edge academic insights with real-world application, featuring renowned experts such as Jason Jay from MIT and Dominic Hofstetter from TransCap Initiative. Limited to 20 participants, the intimate learning environment provides three focused days of group work, one-on-one feedback, and relationship-building opportunities during structured and unstructured networking sessions. The Swiss location offers unparalleled access to innovative sustainable agriculture initiatives and leading experts in food systems. Upon completion, participants receive a recognized credential in the form of a digital badge certificate.
The program focuses on several key areas, using food systems as a practical lens for understanding systems change investing:
- Systems change investment strategy: Learn to understand and distinguish systems change investing in practice, identifying the most impactful financial levers within complex systems
- Stakeholder collaboration: Master deep collaboration approaches with key stakeholders to create lasting systemic impact
- Implementation planning: Develop concrete steps to incorporate a systems approach into your investment activities, including impact assessment frameworks
Throughout the program, you’ll work with real-world food systems cases and<br>your own investment objectives, ensuring you can immediately apply these frameworks to your specific context.
The program fee is $6,899 per seat, with a 50% discount available for additional team or family members. The fee includes the full program, materials, three meals a day, field visits, and a digital badge certification upon completion. Travel and accommodation are not included.
