On November 24, 2025, CSP gathered investors and wealth managers in Zurich for the launch of the Investor's Guide to Impact Wealth Management. The guide is the result of months of research, years of lived experience, and the contributions of 13 wealth managers who opened their doors to the process, brought together in partnership with The ImPact.
The discussion focused on the the choices and challenges wealth holders face in sustainable and impact investing and how wealth managers can better support their clients’ impact goals. Key points included:
Impact starts with self-clarity. Discovery begins with understanding what you are looking for, bringing the right questions to the table, and finding an approach that genuinely reflects your priorities as a wealth holder.
Different challenges require different forms of capital. A key question for every wealth holder is which form of capital is best suited to the specific environmental or social challenge they care about.
Onboarding is where intent becomes action. Structured, proactive onboarding helps translate broad values into clear impact themes and ensures that philanthropic and catalytic tools are considered from the outset.
Impact metrics matter. Investors need clear narratives and straightforward metrics that make the impact of their portfolios understandable and easy to act on.
AI may raise the bar for impact reporting. The key advances in AI could support more tailored, portfolio-level reporting in the years ahead.
The guide is out and the conversation it sparked shows us there is much more to explore. We hope it serves as a practical tool for both wealth holders and wealth managers navigating impact investing and we look forward to continuing the research as the field evolves.
