Rostam Zafari

Rostam Zafari is the Founder and CEO of World Within, a nonprofit that funds organizations building wealth for marginalized communities, and shares their stories in order to inspire, educate, and mobilize others. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer of Sage Hill Investors (SHI), a family office based out of Chattanooga, TN. Over his career, Rostam has led nearly 200 investments in early-stage companies and fund managers across the US, India, Africa, and Europe. He advises family offices on impact investing, philanthropy, and storytelling. He is the co-creator and Executive Producer of the TV series How to Change the World. Rostam studied poetry and social enterprise as an undergraduate at Emory University. He also received a Master’s in Development Practice while at Emory.
