Philip Walker is a private markets investor focused on backing the funds and entrepreneurs building the next economy. He works with institutional investors, foundations and family offices to identify exceptional private equity and venture capital managers across emerging markets, with a particular focus on India and Africa. His focus is targeting investments capable of delivering both outsized returns and meaningful impact.
Phil is the Founder of NXT-ALT, which advises families on high-impact private market investments, and Forestart, an investment platform opening India’s next generation of venture capital funds to global investors. He is also a Venture Partner at Isomer Capital and an advisor to Deep Tech Nation Switzerland.
